For years and years I've driven past my "Dream House" because it happens to be on the same street as my Grandparents' house. Despite the fact that it was pretty run down for quite a while, it was still a well-known home in the community. My dream house has been known as the "Mafia House" for a couple of decades now. There is a "legend," if you will, that the Mafia lived in that house and the house accross the street and there was a secret underground tunnel between the two. The garages of the two houses face each other and while my dream house has only a 2 car garage, the one accross the street has a 6 car garage! Pretty suspicious, don't you think?!? So while growning up I always felt "cool" when I'd tell my friends my Grandparents lived 2 houses away from the Mafia House. Anyway, about a year and a half, or two years ago, a young couple bought it and renovated it and now it's on the market! I walked through the open house and it was confirmed to me that that house had to be mine someday. Unfourtunately, 2.45mil is just a tad out of my price range... ok... a LOT out of my price range. But that isn't going to stop me! I went there with Alysa a couple weeks ago and took several pictures of my dream house. Now, these pictures are on my dream board at work and in my dream book. I look at them everyday. Now, I just need to find a way to attract $2.45mil before someone else snags this house. Any suggestions?!?!?!

My dream house... Parade of Homes 2003. I walked thru the The Pinehurst off of Wasatch Blvd in Sandy just like all the other homes that year. But something very different happened. I felt electrified for some reason as I was in the home. My mind kept thinking that I see myself living in this exact house. It wasn't an ordinary feeling that I had felt in the other homes- the "I want to live here" feeling. No, it was a much more powerful and emotional experience. I felt as if I was going to be living there someday.
Now I am ready to attract this million plus dollar home. Getting a picture of this home wasn't an easy thing to do because people currently live there (Eloise and John Bird to be exact). I did a little investigative work to get their names. I'm not the shy type so I got pictures of myself walking around the house. I was half tempted to knock on the door but I thought that would be taking it a little too far. They might think I was a phycho stalker. I had small concerns also that the neighbors would come over and ask what I was doing. But they didn't, luckily. Everything turned out just fine. For you other people who have a dream home with security cameras and alarms... be extremely careful! :)
